1 Treat bonding surface of heated rear window (shaded area) with glass primer.

The bonding surface (shaded area) is in a central position in relation to mark (8). Observe glass primer
flash-off time.

2.1 Remove adhesive residue from underside of roof antenna (A2/49), clean bonding surface and glue on adhesive foil (1).

Only when re-using old roof antenna (A2/49). The bonding surface at roof antenna (A2/49) must be free of oil and grease.

3 Remove carrier film from underside of roof antenna (A2/49).

Glue on roof antenna (A2/49) immediately after removing carrier film, otherwise the bonding effect cannot be guaranteed.

4 Glue roof antenna (A2/49) to heated rear window and position antenna lines (5) in cutout (arrow).

Position roof antenna (A2/49) so that roof antenna (A2/49) is in a central position in relation to mark (8).

5 Press on roof antenna (A2/49) firmly.

Apply load of approx. 20 kg to base of roof antenna (A2/49) for approx. 5 s.
