Remove/install

Actuate left release button (3) and open cover (2) of stowage compartment in center console at front

Remove telephone mount from telephone stowage tray (1)

For vehicles with installed telephone mount.

Remove cover (5) from Universal Portable Cell Phone Interface (UPCI [UHI]) cell phone holder (A34/15)

With code (386) Preinstallation for telephone "Handy", UPCI system

Release catches (6) at telephone stowage tray (1)

Installation: Make sure that the catches (6) for the telephone stowage tray (1) engage.

Pull telephone stowage tray (1) upwards and out and place to one side

Remove electrical connectors (4) from corresponding brackets and disconnect

Installation: Ensure that electrical connectors (4) are correctly seated in the corresponding brackets.

Remove telephone stowage tray (1)

Unclip Universal Portable Cell Phone Interface (UPCI [UHI]) cell phone holder (A34/15) from telephone stowage tray (1) and remove

When replacing telephone stowage tray (1) or the Universal Portable Cell Phone Interface (UPCI [UHI]) cell phone holder (A34/15) up to 2.3.08.

Remove bolts from Universal Portable Cell Phone Interface (UPCI [UHI]) cell phone holder (A34/15) and remove from the telephone stowage tray (1)

When replacing telephone stowage tray (1) or the Universal Portable Cell Phone Interface (UPCI [UHI]) cell phone holder (A34/15) as of 3.3.08.

The Universal Portable Cell Phone Interface (UPCI [UHI]) cell phone holder (A34/15) is fastened in place using three bolts.
