Connect quiescent current retention unit

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove side cover on left side of trunk

Remove antenna splitter in left wheelhouse

Unscrew nut (2)

Carefully lift cradle (1) with control modules out of spare wheel recess

Do not damage connection lines.

Release coupling on control module and remove

Do not kink or stretch D2B fiber optic cable

Disconnect antenna cable from transmitter/receiver (A35)

Only for permanently installed telephone (code 316).

Loosen sheet metal screw (5)

Remove telephone interface (A34/4)

Install in the reverse order
