Remove/install

Disconnect ground line of auxiliary battery

Move head restraint on right front seat all way down

Remove trim strip (1)

Loosen seat base (2) at vehicle floor and fold far enough forward so that the amplifier (3) is accessible

 Installation:
Do not trap any electric lines between seat base (2) and body.
Otherwise, the electric lines will be damaged and damage will occur at the electrical system.

 Do not remove right front seat.

Support seat base (2) with a suitable object

Remove amplifier (3) from seat base (2) and pull towards the rear, until the electrical connectors (5) and electric lines (6) are accessible

Disconnect electrical connectors (5)

Remove electric lines (6) and take out amplifier (3)

Install in the reverse order



Check

Perform function test of amplifier (3)
