Removing and installing keyless go antenna

Disconnect/connect/remove ground lead from battery

 

Remove/Install

Remove door lining

Pull off door foil (1) at bottom left and attach using adhesive tape

Carefully detach door foil (1) and check for damage, replace if necessary.

 Installation: Check butyl cord of door foil (1), if necessary fit new butyl cord.

Press door foil (1) on with roller.

 Installation: Carefully press on door foil (1) to ensure there are no leakages.

Remove protective strip on front door

Remove screws of left door Keyless Go antenna (A2/38) or right door Keyless Go antenna (A2/40)

Slide left door Keyless Go antenna (A2/38) or right door Keyless Go antenna (A2/40) and remove

Disconnect electric connector (2)

Install in the reverse order
