Perform commissioning of sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).

If sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) is replaced.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove spare wheel well trim.

Remove sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) and release and disconnect electrical connectors (2).

Disconnect electrical connector with fiber-optic cable (3).

Cover plug of electrical connector with fiber-optic cable (3) and equipment connection on sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3).

Remove sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) from vehicle.

10

Install in the reverse order.
