Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button from electronic ignition lock control unit

KEYLESS-GO start/stop button only on vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go.

Fold passenger-side floor covering (1) toward rear

Unscrew nuts (2) and remove footrest (3)

Disconnect electrical connector (4)

Disconnect optical fiber coupling (5) and cover connection at sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3)

Remove bolts (6, arrows)

Remove sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) downward from bracket (7)
