Remove/install

Release bracket (1) and remove hose (2)

Slightly spread bracket (arrows B) using suitable tool and expose hose (2) at left hinge of engine hood

Release locks (arrows A), swivel out spray nozzles (3) towards bottom and place to one side together with hose (2)

Detach paneling (4) on left side until bracket (5) is accessible

 Do not remove wiper arms.

Remove cable tie at bracket (5)

 Installation: Replace cable tie.

Detach bracket (6)

Remove grommet (7) towards air/water duct

Remove retaining clips (8) from left fender liner (9)

 Installation: Check retaining clips (8) for damage.

For damage



Replace corresponding retaining clip (8)

Push left fender liner (9) to one side until windshield washer system pump (M5/4) is accessible

Disconnect electrical connector (10)

with code F48 (Heated windscreen washer system)

Disconnect hose (2) at windshield washer system pump (M5/4) and seal connection at windshield washer system pump (M5/4) with suitable stop plugs

Release lock (11), disconnect hose (2) at windshield washer system pump (M5/4) and seal connection at windshield washer system pump (M5/4) with suitable stop plugs

Guide hose (2) through opening of grommet (7) at air/water duct and remove from engine compartment with spray nozzles (3)

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check windshield washer system for proper function and leakage


