Wear protective clothing and tight-fitting safety glasses. No open flames, fire or ignition sources. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. When working with window washing fluids or antifreeze, do not eat, drink, or smoke. Do not inhale vapors and ensure sufficient ventilation in the working area. Store window washing fluid and antifreeze leakfree in safely closed original containers and out of the reach of children.

Remove/install

Remove the washer fluid reservoir of the windshield washer system

 Do not remove heat exchanger.

Detach washer fluid hose (2) at windshield washer system pump (M5/1)

Disconnect electrical connector (3)

Unclip washer fluid hose (2) from retaining clip (1)

Unclip guide (5) at cover (4), and guide washer fluid hose (2) upwards out of wheel well

Remove wiper arms

Remove engine compartment cover to side

Loosen cover (4) until washer fluid hoses (2) are accessible

Open brackets (arrows)

Unclip connection pieces (6), and remove washer fluid hoses (2) from cover (4)

Install in the reverse order
