1 | Remove the coolant expansion reservoir and place to one side with lines attached. | ||

2 | Remove filler neck (2). | ||
3 | Remove front right wheel and tire assembly. | ||
4 | Remove right front fender liner. | ||
5 | Release, disconnect and remove electrical connector (5) from holder. | ||
6 | Release and disconnect washer fluid hoses (7) at connections (3). | Collect escaping washer fluid in a suitable vessel. | |
7 | Remove nut (4). | ||
8.1 | Remove screw (6). | Model 118, 177 with engine 139 | |
8.2 | Remove nut (6). | Model 247.7 with engine 139 | |
9 | Remove washer fluid reservoir (1). | Installation: Check ball pin is correctly seated in guide. | |
10 | Remove windshield washer system pump (M5/1) with washer fluid hoses (7). | If the washer fluid reservoir (1) is replaced. | |
11 | Release and disconnect electrical connector from windshield washer system fluid level indicator switch (S42) and remove electrical wiring harness from washer fluid reservoir (1). | If the washer fluid reservoir (1) is replaced. | |
12 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
13 | Correct fluid level of windshield washer system. | ||
