Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.

When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove/install

Move wiper motor to parked position

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Remove caps (2)

Unscrew nuts (3)

 Nut, front wiper arm to wiper motor shaft

Remove wiper arms (1)

 Installation: Position wiper arms (1) on markings on windshield. Wiper motor must be in park position.

Install in the reverse order
