Danger!

Risk of injury in the form of trapping or crushing, or even severing of limbs, if caught in windshield wiper mechanism

Always remove ignition key when working on windshield wiper mechanism.

Remove cover (2)

Unscrew nut (4)

Remove wiper arm (1)

Install

Plug the wiper arm (1) onto the wiper shaft (5)

Position wiper blade (3) in the horizontal position

Screw on nut (4) securely

Install cover (2)

Raise wiper arm (1)

Allow wiper motor to start up and switch off in the upper end position

Fold back wiper arm (1) and check position of wiper blade (3)

The wiper blade (3) must not contact the windshield surround.

If the position can no longer be adjusted accurately, these should be replaced.
