Remove/install

Remove roller sun blind (1) in the rear

Loosen roller blind (2) and allow to hang down

Do not disconnect electrical connector (3) at reading lamp switch, left roof stowage box and reading lamp switch, right roof stowage box.

Installation: Do not re-attach roller blind (2) until after the function test.

Disconnect electric reading lamp intermediate connector, left roof stowage box (E11/3x1) and electric reading lamp intermediate connector, right roof stowage box (E11/4x1)

Loosen reading lamp, left roof stowage box (E11/3) and reading lamp, right roof stowage box (E11/4) from roof stowage box flap (4)

Removal: Pay attention to installation position.
Reading lamp, left roof stowage box (E11/3) and reading lamp, right roof stowage box (E11/4) are glued into the roof stowage box flap (4) using hot melt adhesive.

Installation: Remove existing hot melt adhesive residue and glue in reading lamp, left roof stowage box (E11/3) and reading lamp, right roof stowage box (E11/4) using commercially available hot melt adhesive.
Pay attention to installation position.

Route connector with electrical line of reading lamp, left roof stowage box (E11/3) and reading lamp, right roof stowage box (E11/4) through relevant hinge opening (arrow) in roof stowage box flap (4)

Remove reading lamp, left roof stowage box (E11/3) and reading lamp, right roof stowage box (E11/4)

Install in the reverse order

Check

Perform a function check of the reading lamp, left roof stowage box (E11/3) or reading lamp, right roof stowage box (E11/4)

Remove/install lamp in rear stowage box
