M21 Headlamp cleaning system pump
| Removal, installation | ||
1 | Switch off ignition | ||
2 | Drain windshield washer reservoir | The water level should be below the pump (M21). | |
3 | Disconnect vacuum pipe from pump (M21) | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connector on pump (M21) | ||
5 | Remove pump (M21) | Installation: Make sure joint is correctly fitted in washer reservoir | |
6 | Remove bumper | ||
7 | Disconnect vacuum pipes in distributor fitting (2) and in spray nozzle (1) | The vacuum hose is inserted in the engine compartment under the headlamp unit | |
8 | Remove spray nozzle (1) | Unscrews spray nozzle nuts. | |
9 | Reinstall in opposite order | After installing check operation Switch lights on, apply windshield wiper switch |
