Remove/install

Perform initial startup of left headlamp control unit (E1/1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2/1n9) with diagnostic system

When replacing left headlamp control unit (E1/1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2/1n9).

Remove left front LED lamp unit (E1/1) or right front LED lamp unit (E2/1)

Remove bolts (1)

Pull out left headlamp control unit (E1/1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2/1n9) until the electrical connectors (2) can be disconnected

Installation: Ensure that seal (3) is seated correctly.

Disconnect electrical connectors (2) and remove left headlamp control unit (E1/1n9) or right headlamp control unit (E2/1n9)

Install in the reverse order

Check

Carry out function test of the exterior lights
