1 | Unscrew bolt (9) from front bumper (1) | ||
2 | Unscrew sheet metal screws (8) from radiator paneling (6) | ||
3 | Detach electrical connector (2) from left (E1) and right (E2) front lamp units | ||
4 | Disconnect pneumatic line (4) for headlamp range adjustment | ||
5 | Detach electrical connector (3) from left (E6/1) and right (E6/2) turn signal lamps | ||
6 | Remove left (E6/1) and right (E6/2) turn signal lamps | Release catch by inserting screwdriver into hole (magnifying glass) at end of fender support and push turn signal lamp out towards front. | |
7 | Unscrew bolts (5) and (7) | ||
8 | Gently pull radiator paneling (6) and fastening shackle on front of bumper (1) forward | Avoid damage. | |
9 | Carefully pull left (E1) and right (E2) front lamp unit out towards front | Installation: Align lamp unit such that a consistent distance is maintained between the fender and the closed engine hood. | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | Steps 9 to 1. | |

11 | Check and correct headlamp adjustment | ||
