1 Main and low beams

E1 Left front lamp unit
E2 Right front lamp unit
3 Electrical connector

| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove left or right service grille | ||
2 | Remove air inlet | When replacing the left high and low beam (1). | |
3 | Loosen cover (2) from left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) | ||
4 | Slightly press spring (4) of high and low beam (1) toward front and detach in direction of arrow from anchoring on left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) | ||
5 | Lead high and low beam (1) with cover (2) and connected electric wiring harness up and out through the service opening until the electrical connector (3) is accessible | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) from high and low beam (1) and remove high and low beam (1) | Installation: The notch (arrow A) must point downward when installing the high and low beam (1). The flag (arrow B) must point upward vertically. This must be checked through the lens of the left front lamp unit (E1) or right front lamp unit (E2) (picture C). | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Check headlamp adjustment and if necessary correct | ||
