Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Lift vehicle with lifting platform.

Release and disconnect electrical connector at left front level sensor (B22/8) or right front level sensor (B22/9).

 The number of level sensors per axle varies depending on the vehicle equipment.

Unscrew nut (1).

 Installation: Do not twist left front level sensor (B22/8) or right front level sensor (B22/9).

 Installation: Pay attention to installation position.

 Nut, turning angle sensor to connecting strut

Unscrew bolts (2).

 Screw/bolt, turning angle sensor to bracket

Remove left front level sensor (B22/8) or right front level sensor (B22/9).

Install in the reverse order.

Calibrate

Calibrate left front level sensor (B22/8) or right front level sensor (B22/9) using vehicle diagnosis system.

After replacing the left front level sensor (B22/8) or right front level sensor (B22/9).



Check

Check and correct headlamp adjustment.

After replacing the left front level sensor (B22/8) or right front level sensor (B22/9).
