Remove/install

Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle

Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts

Disconnect electrical connector (1) at left front level sensor (B22/8) and right front level sensor (B22/9)

Detach bracket (2) from upper transverse control arm (3)

Detach left front level sensor (B22/8) and right front level sensor (B28/9) from the body

Convert connecting rod (4)

Only if required.

Install in the reverse order

After replacing the level sensors, calibrate the vehicle level with STAR DIAGNOSIS (level calibration)

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
