Remove/install

Switch off exterior lighting and turn signal light.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove cover (2) and cover (3).

Pull low beam bulb (4) on electrical connector (5) out of lamp unit (1).

Disconnect electrical connector (5) and remove low beam bulb (4).


Do not touch the glass bulb with bare fingers, but instead use a clean, soft cloth.
Otherwise, there may be damage to the low beam bulb (4) or to the lamp unit (1) during operation.

Turn high beam and daytime running lights bulb (6) in direction of arrow (arrow A) and remove from lamp unit (1).


Ensure that the plug housing (7) on the lamp unit (1) remains engaged.
Otherwise, the lamp unit (1) must be removed to correctly position the plug housing (7).


Do not touch the glass bulb with bare fingers, but instead use a clean, soft cloth.
Otherwise, there may be damage to the high beam and daytime running lights bulb (6) or to the lamp unit (1) during operation.

Release socket (8) from catch hook (arrows B) and pull with standing lights bulb (9) out of lamp unit (1).

Pull standing lights bulb (9) out of socket (8).


Do not touch the glass bulb with bare fingers, but instead use a clean, soft cloth.
Otherwise, there may be damage to the standing lights bulb (9) or to the lamp unit (1) during operation.

Turn socket (10) in direction of arrow (arrow C) and remove with turn signal light bulb (11) from lamp unit (1).

Remove turn signal light bulb (11) from socket (10).


Do not touch the glass bulb with bare fingers, but instead use a clean, soft cloth.
Otherwise, there may be damage to the turn signal light bulb (11) or to the lamp unit (1) during operation.

Install in the reverse order

Check

Perform function check of exterior lighting.
