2 Protective cap

5 Retaining clamp

3 Cap

4 Electrical connector

Remove/Install

Risk of damage to rain/light sensor (1)

Do not remove protective cap (2) on rain/light sensor (1) until right before installation.

Keep silicone surface free of dirt and do not touch.

Remove inside rearview mirror

Pull off covering cap (3)

Installation: Position electrical connector (4) and insert into groove on cap (3).

Disconnect electrical connector (4)

Open retaining clamp (5) on right and left

Detach rain/light sensor (1)

Carefully detach rain/light sensor (1) to prevent the windshield from being damaged.

Installation: The rain/light sensor (1) must be replaced.

Remove silicone residues from windshield (arrow)

Thoroughly clean windshield with lint free cloth.

Install in the reverse order
