The high voltage used for electric welding presents a lethal hazard. Risk of explosion from welding in areas close to highly inflammable materials. Risk of injury from weld splatter and UV-light when welding. Risk of poisoning from inhaling welding gases

Use insulating mats. Wear protective clothing, safety glasses and a protective mask. Remove highly inflammable materials from the hazard area. Use air extraction system.

Remove

Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.

Remove rear part of the front left fender liner.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) and remove electrical wiring harness from bracket (1).

Screw commercially available nut onto the threaded pin of the alarm siren (H3/1) and weld together with two tack weld points with the theft-proof nut (3).



Unscrew commercially available nut (6) together with the theft-proof nut (3).

Remove alarm siren (H3/1).

Screw commercially available nut (6) onto the threaded pin (5) and weld together with two tack weld points with the theft-proof nut (2).

When replacing bracket (1).



Unscrew commercially available nut (6) together with the theft-proof nut (2).

When replacing bracket (1).

Remove bracket (1).

When replacing bracket (1).



Install

Install bracket (1).

When replacing bracket (1).

 Use new theft-proof nut (2).

Install alarm siren (H3/1).


Insert guide pin (7) of alarm siren (H3/1) into bracket (1).
Because otherwise, the alarm siren (H3/1) may twist when the nut (3) is tightened.

 Use new theft-proof nuts (3).

Connect electrical connector (4) and fasten electrical wiring harness.
