Disconnect ground cable of battery

Carefully fold floor covering back in area of driver's footwell and passenger footwell

The floor covering can be damaged from excessive tensioning.Ensure that the floor covering does not swing back and thus scratches the paneling of the cross member.

Disconnect electrical connector from left microwave sensor (1) and right microwave sensor (2)

Carefully remove left microwave sensor (1) and right microwave sensor (2) from Velcro strip

Install in the reverse order

Inspect

Check alarm system Plus

Lock vehicle with radio remote control, LED on alarm system Plus flashes permanently; as soon as it starts flashing unlock vehicle with radio remote control.

Lock vehicle with radio remote control after 15 seconds.Ensure that the turn signal system flashes 3 times.

As soon as the LED of the alarm system Plus starts flashing, the individual safety functions can be checked.

Check mechanical locking of doors and flaps, motion in passenger compartment and position of entire vehicle
