| Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge | ||
1 | Remove rear SAM control unit (N10/8) with rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) | ||
2 | Remove vehicle-sensitive seatbelt lock sensor (A60) | ||
3 | Remove RVC [UVS] control unit (N52) with bracket (1) and raise until electrical connectors (2) are accessible. | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connectors (2) from RVC [UVS] control unit (N52) | ||
5 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) from yaw rate and lateral acceleration sensor (B24/15) | ||
6 | Remove RVC [UVS] control unit (N52) with bracket (1) | ||
7 | Remove bracket upper section (1.1) and remove RVC [UVS] control unit (N52) | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Read out fault memory, erase if necessary | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory |
