Remove/install

Open luggage compartment lid

Remove luggage compartment lining on right

Detach hydraulic lines from retaining clips

 Cut open cable tie.

 Installation: Replace cable ties.

Unscrew bolt (3) and remove retaining plate (4)

 Bolt, mounting rail for hydraulic unit to vibration damper

Remove soundproofing (2) with connected lines

Open soundproofing (2) on shackles (6) and lay hydraulic unit (1) down to side

Disconnect electrical connections (5)

Remove hydraulic lines with connection plate (7) from hydraulic unit (1)

Install in the reverse order

Check oil level of hydraulic system, correct if necessary
