Open folding roof and rear soft top

Remove side support beams on both sides

 See owner's manual.

Remove expansion rivets (1)

Remove mounting clip (2)

Remove B-pillar cover (3)

 Cover is secured with clip (4) on B-pillar.

Unclip roll bar trim (5) on both sides

 Roll bar trim (5) is secured with clip (6) on B-pillar.

Heat centering aid (7) uniformly


Proceed with caution during heating,
as side wall seal can otherwise be damaged.

Remove centering aid (7) and loose adhesive residues


Use a plastic wedge (8) to raise centering aid (7),
as paintwork damage can otherwise occur.

 To improve adhesion of new adhesive and prevent paintwork damage, a thin adhesive layer must remain on body.



Install

Install roll bar trim (5)

Install B-pillar cover (3)

Insert mounting clip (2)

Insert expansion rivets (1) and press in locking pins so that flush

Apply adhesive on centering aid (7) and insert centering aid (7)

 Position plastic lug in cutout of roll bar trim (5) and firmly press on centering aid (7).
Clearance (A) is 10.5 mm (0.5 mm).

Install side support beams on both sides

Close rear soft top

 See owner's manual.

Check centering aid (7)

 Centering aid (7) may not be in contact with roof cassette (9).
