Remove left folding roof motor

Remove right folding roof motor cover

Pull cover at front downwards and remove from roof cassette.

Open folding roof and rear soft top

Remove side support beams on both sides

See owner's manual.

Release roof cassette

See owner's manual.

With the ignition switched on, manually lift roof cassette and engage at catch hooks of B-pillar

Manually actuate support beam detection (1) on both sides during engagement.
Folding roof (6) independently moves forwards by approx. 3 cm after engagement of roof cassette.

Move folding roof (6) approx. 20 cm towards front by means of soft top operating switch

Toggle sliders (2) detach from drive cable (4).

Installation: Turn soft top motor emergency actuation until folding roof (6) retracts and roof cassette is released at B-pillar lock. Then continue turning at emergency actuation until end stop. Lift slide plate (3) during retraction of folding roof (6).

Remove center and rear slides of soft top bow (8) on both sides from guide


Proceed with care,
as slides can otherwise be damaged.

Set down roof peak on rear-end door

Open tensioning strap lock (7) on both sides and pull tensioning strap (5) out of slides

Installation: White seam on tensioning strap (5) must point towards folding roof (6).
Do not install tensioning strap (5) twisted and shorten tensioning strap length in small increments.

Remove toggle slider (2) from slide plate (3)

Swivel toggle slider (2) counterclockwise towards left by 270° and clockwise towards right by 270° and detach.

Remove screws (9) and remove slide plate (3) on both sides

Swivel slide plate (3) out of roof peak, pull spring support part (11) out of end cap (10) and remove slide plate (3).

13

Install in the reverse order
