Open the retaining clip lock on the left (1) and the retaining clip lock on the right (2)

Raise the rear soft top (3) and engage it

Loosen retaining tabs (4) on left and right front roof edge, then pull headliner (6) out of gap of roof edge, from outside toward center

When loosening the retaining tab (4), slide a plastic wedge into the roof peak gap.

Loosen retaining tabs on the roof cassette on the left and right, then pull headliner (6) out of gap of roof edge, from outside toward center

When loosening the retaining tabs, slide a plastic wedge into the roof cassette gap.

Loosen all mounting strips (8) on the roof bow (7) (arrow A)

Remove all mounting strips (8) from the roof bow (7) on the side

Pull the mounting strips (8) on the outside downwards (arrow B).

Remove the mounting strips (8) from the roof bow (7) (arrow C)

Install

Starting with the first mounting strip, place all mounting strips (8) on the roof bow (7) and clip them in with an equal amount of pressure

Counterhold soft top from outside.
Install the headliner (6) wird with the thinner side facing to the rear.

Position the mounting strips (8) in the center of the headliner (6)

Rotate the rear edge of the headliner (6) 90° upwards, and apply slight tension to insert it into the roof cassette gap (arrow D)


When inserting the headliner edges, open the soft top slightly.
Otherwise, the headliner (6) may be damaged due to overstretching.

Rotate the front edge of the headliner (6) 90° upwards and apply slight tension to insert it into the roof edge gap

Attach the headliner (6) to the center

Insert the retaining tab (4) on the roof edge at the front on the left and right

Check headliner (6)

Close the soft top, check the headliner (6) for formation of creases and position mounting strips (6) in center, if necessary.
Open the soft top, check headliner (6) for tension and position mounting strips (8) in center, if necessary.
Close the soft top, paying attention to sanding spots of the headliner (6) on the soft top seal.

Close the retaining clip lock on the left (1) and the retaining clip lock on the right (2)
