Open the soft top.

 See owner's manual.

Remove side supports

 See owner's manual.

Remove the roof peak seal (1)

Check the sealant in the roof peak seal (1)

 Ensure a hole-free sealing, particularly in the area marked with arrows, on the right and left. If necessary, add more sealant.



Install

Position the roof peak seal (1) on the roof frame and A-pillar on both sides

Press the roof peak seal (1) against the A-pillar at the top left and top right, starting on the body


Install the roof peak seal (1) as narrow as possible in the radii.
Otherwise, leakages may occur.

 The roof peak seal (12) and side door seal at the left or right must make contact in the center of the door sill without gap.

 Carefully knock on the roof peak seal (1) with a plastic mallet

Check seating of roof peak seal (1)

 The sealing lip of the roof peak seal (1) must contact the body without any contortions.

 The roof peak seal (1) must lie on the A-pillar roof frame and the transition to the side support beam must not exceed the gap dimension of 1.0 0.5.

Close soft top

Check installation position of roof peak seal (1)

 The A-pillar must line up flush with the side support molded part.
