1 | Open liftgate | ||
2 | Remove rivet (1) on both sides | Press pin out of rivet (1) and remove rivet (1). | |
3 | Remove expansion anchor (2) | Remove screw from expansion anchor (2) and remove expansion anchor (2). | |
4 | Remove stop plug (4) and remove expansion anchor located underneath | Remove screw from expansion anchor and remove expansion anchor. | |
5 | Remove right stowage box (3) and left stowage box (5) from body | Right stowage box (3) and left stowage box (5) are secured on body with clips. | |
6 | Open folding roof and rear soft top | See owner's manual. | |
7 | Remove cable ties (10) and disconnect soft top wiring harness connector (11) at main wiring harness | ||
8 | Remove screw (6) and screw (8) | ||
9 | Remove screw (7) and screw (9) | ||
10 | Open soft top bow (13) | ||
11 | Remove soft top (12) | When storing soft top, make sure soft top wiring harness connector (11) does not get caught. | |

12 | Insert soft top (12) | ||
13 | Screw in screw (6) and screw (8) so that finger-tight | | |
14 | Screw in screw (7) and screw (9) so that finger-tight | ||
15 | Connect soft top wiring harness connector (11) and secure with new cable ties (10) | Ensure soft top wiring harness connector (11) engages. | |
16 | Adjust soft top (12) | ||
17 | Adjust folding roof | It is not always apparent from the outside whether a folding roof has correctly locked. Soft top fabric tension and position of roof peak are not always conspicuous. | |
