Risk of injury caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.

No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving.

Remove/install

Remove panoramic sliding roof

Move panoramic sliding roof mechanism to closed position with panoramic siding roof switch

Remove seal (1) from panoramic roof frame (2)

 Seal (1) is bonded to panoramic roof frame (2).

 Installation: Always replace seal (1).
Align seal (1) at notches (3) and beading (4) on panoramic roof frame (2) and press on with   roller over entire length.

Clean bonding surface on panoramic roof frame (2)


Do not touch bonding surfaces with bare fingers and they should be free of dust, oil, grease, wax and other adhesive components or dirt residues.
Otherwise sufficient adhesion of the seal (1) is not ensured.
