Remove/install

Completely open roller sun blind (1) with panoramic sliding roof roller sun blind switch

Remove rear headliner

Unscrew bolts (2, arrow A)

Installation: Tighten bolts (4) together with bolts (2, arrow A).

Unscrew bolts (4) on both sides of panoramic roof

Helper required to hold detached guide rails (3).

Installation: Lightly tighten bolts (4) by hand.

Lower guide rails (3) until rear area of guide rails (3) is accessible at top


Uniformly lower guide (3), however, not too far.
Otherwise the guide tubes (5) can be damaged.

Helper required to hold detached guide rails (3).

Secure lowered guide rails (3) with cable ties

Remove roller sun blind (1) from guide rail (3)

Install roller sun blind (1) on guide rails (3)

Turn roller sun blind (1) and insert anti-twist lock (6) from bottom into right roller bearing (1.2) (arrow C).

Installation: A new roller sun blind (1) is supplied with inserted anti-twist lock (6).

If an anti-twist lock (6) is not available for removal.

Use an approx. 10 cm long wire with a diameter of approx. 1.5 mm

Unscrew bolts (7) on both sides of roller sun blind (1) and remove roller sun blind (1)

Install in the reverse order

Synchronize panoramic roller sun blind with diagnostic system and perform teach-in run for automatic reversing function

Check roller sun blind (1) for proper function
