Remove/install

Open sliding roof.

Press wind deflector (1) at the left and right roof edge with long wedge toward the rear and unhook retaining tab (2) on the left and right upward.


Carefully press wind deflector (1) toward rear.
Otherwise, the retaining tabs (2) may be damaged.

Helper required.

Unhook spring (3) at the left and right out of the sliding sunroof frame and remove wind deflector (1).

Installation: Pull spring (3) on left and right toward front until sliding roof frame arrests.

Install in the reverse order.

Read out fault memory with vehicle diagnosis system and carry out teach-in run for the automatic reversing function of the sliding roof.
