| Remove | ||
1 | Move sliding roof panel (1) to tilt position. | ||
2 | Completely open the sliding roof paneling (2). | ||
3 | Remove the left and right boot (3). | | |
Adjust | |||
4 | Close sliding roof panel (1). | ||
5 | Release screws (4) on left and right on the sliding roof panel (1). | ||
6 | Guide cardboard strips (5) into the center of the rear sealing joint | The cardboard strip (5) must be approx. 500 mm long and approx. 2 mm thick. The gap dimensions must be approximately uniform at the front and rear sealing joint. | |
7 | Adjust the sliding roof panel (1) for the roof paneling. | Note the measuring position (A) when adjusting the height. | |
Sliding roof adjustment | |||
8 | Tighten the screws (4) on the left and right on the sliding roof panel (1) from the rear to the front. | ||
9 | Remove the cardboard strips (5). | ||
| Install | ||
10 | Move sliding roof panel (1) to tilt position. | ||
11 | Install left and right boot (3). | ||
12 | Close sliding roof panel (1). | ||
13 | Close sliding roof trim (2). | ||
14 | Connect the diagnostic system and perform the teach-in run for the automatic reverse function of the sliding roof. | ||
