Remove bottom door trim

Loosen cable ties (12)

Remove electrical connector (11) from right sliding door control unit(N69/6) and electrical connector (13) from wiring harness

Loosen bolt nipple (2)

Installation: Adjust cable with adjustment screw (4) so that a play of approx. 2-3 mm is present between the screw nipple (2) and slider (3). Counter adjustment screw (4) with nut (6).

Remove cable (5) from adjustment screw (4)

Remove screw/bolts (7)

Remove right sliding door drive (M73/1)

For this purpose press shaft retainers (8) toward outside in direction of arrows and simultaneously remove electric sliding door drive (M73/1) from shaft (9).

Installation: Install shaft (9) in assembly funnel (10) of right sliding door drive (M73/1). Press on drive until shaft retainers (8) arrest.

Remove cable (5) from right sliding door drive (M73/1)

When replacing cable (5) or right sliding door drive (M73/1)

Install in the reverse order

Adjust electric sliding door

Completely close sliding door once with switch pressed on center console or door entrance. Then completely open and close sliding door once by momentarily pressing one of the switches.

Check

Check sliding door for proper function
