Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Unclip cover (2) from door trim of tailgate (1).

Remove screw/bolts (3).

Unclip door trim of tailgate (1) and take off far enough that the electrical connectors (4, 5) are accessible.

Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (4, 5).

Remove door trim of tailgate (1).

Install in the reverse order.
