Risk of injury Gas pressure struts are under high pressure and can pinch and crush body parts during work

Remove and install gas pressure struts only in relaxed position and on components properly secured.

Lift retainer (2) with suitable screwdriver and remove left and right gas-operated strut (1) on top rear-end door (3).

Ensure that top rear-end door (3) does not close unintentionally to prevent damage.

Do not remove retainer (2), otherwise tension on retainer (2) can be lost.

Installation: Clip gas-operated strut (1) into ball head on top rear-end door (3) with retainer (2) clipped in.

Lift retainer (2) with suitable screwdriver and remove left and right gas-operated strut (1) on body (4).

Installation: Clip gas-operated strut (1) into ball head on body (4) with retainer (2) clipped in.

Install in the reverse order
