1 | Open liftgate and secure against lowering | ||
2 | Loosen retainers (2) on brackets on left or right gas-filled strut (1) with suitable screwdriver (3) and remove left and right gas-filled strut (1) | Installation: Clip left or right gas-filled strut (1) into ball head on bracket with retainer (2) installed. | |
3 | Dispose of removed gas-operated strut (1) properly | Only when replacing gas-filled strut (1). | |
4 | Install in the reverse order |
