Remove/ install trunk lid lock

9 Bolts for rear center section

Remove/Install

Loosen trunk lid seal

Loosen trunk lid seal in area in left and right of trunk lid lock

Do not damage trunk lid seal

Remove carpet above engine compartment cover (1)

Unscrew bolts from inner paneling (4) on left and right

Remove inner paneling (3) on left and right

Remove rear paneling

6

Unhook Bowden cable (6) from trunk lid lock mount (5) and trunk lid lock (2)

Installation: Ensure for proper function

Disconnect connector (8)

Unscrew bolts (7).

Only when repairing or replacing rear center section after body damage
