Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Remove center liftgate trim.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (2).

Remove screw/bolts (3).

 Screw/bolt, liftgate latch to liftgate

Remove trunk lid/liftgate lock (A85/5) from liftgate (1) until cable (4) can be accessed.

Remove cable (4) from the trunk lid/liftgate latch (A85/5).

Remove trunk lid/liftgate lock (A85/5).

Install in the reverse order.
