Unscrew bolt (2) on left and right

Unscrew bolts (3) form side strut support

Press rear-end door paneling (1) out of catch lugs on inner section downward (arrow) and pivot downward until electrical connector (4) is accessible.

Unclip electrical connector (4) from rear-end door (arrow)

Disconnect electrical connector (4) from handle recess switch

 Do not damage catch lugs as otherwise connector will no longer be locked in place.

 Installation: Observe catch.

Unlock plug (5) on left license plate lamp (E19/1) and connector (6) on right license plate lamp (E19/2) and remove.

 Do not damage catch lugs, otherwise plugs (5, 6) can no longer lock.

 Installation: Pay attention to latching of plugs (5, 6).

Remove rear-end door paneling (1)

 Installation: When replacing rear-end door paneling (1), transfer handle recess, lock seal, left and right license plate lamp.

Install in the reverse order

Glue on smart model plate (7) according to dimensions specified.
