Setting on the left rear-end door (1)

Close the left rear-end door (1) completely and lock it.

Align the lock striker at top (6) and rotary hatch at top (13) with each other, taking the transition of the left rear-end door (1) to the roof frame into consideration, and tighten the screws (4, 12).   

 A helper checks the transition of the left rear-end door (1) to the roof frame.

 The contour of the roof frame must protrude at least 0.5 mm but no more than 3.5 mm beyond the contour of the rear-end door (1).

Close the left rear-end door (1) completely and lock it.

Align the lock striker at bottom (6) and rotary hatch at bottom (13) with each other, and tighten the screws (8, 10).   

Setting on the right rear-end door (1)

Close the right rear-end door (1) completely and lock it.

Align the lock striker at top (17) and rotary hatch at top (26) with each other, and tighten the screws (16, 25).   

 A helper checks the transitions of the right rear-end door (1) to the roof frame and to the left rear-end door (1).

 The contour of the roof frame must protrude at least 0.5 mm but no more than 3.5 mm beyond the contour of the rear-end door (1).
The right rear-end door (1) must be flush with the left rear-end door (1).

Adjust the lock striker in center (19) to the door lock of the right rear-end door (1) and tighten the screws (18).  

 The right rear-end door (1) must be neither lifted nor pulled downward by the lock striker in center (19).
Door lock can otherwise be damaged.

 The right rear-end door (1) must be flush with the left rear-end door (1).

Slide the guide bolt (22) forwards until the limit stop.

Close the right rear-end door (1) completely and lock it.

Tighten the screws (21) on the guide bolt (22). 

Tighten the screws (23) on the guide bearing (24). 
