With the sliding door (3) fully open, move the upper or lower door check (1) such that both door checks (1) are evenly in contact with the C-pillar.

With the sliding door (3) fully open, the door check engaged and the sliding door (3) pulled in the direction of travel by hand, adjust the upper or lower door check (1) by moving it in the corresponding direction.   

 The distance between the upper and lower door checks (1) and the contact surface on the C-pillar must be identical.
