Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

with code 889 (KEYLESS-GO)
with code 896 (Vehicle access and drive authorization via mobile phone)

Remove stop plug(1).

Loosen screw (2).

Do not remove screw (2) completely.

Pull door handle (5) up to end stop and remove cover (4).

When removing cover (4), the door handle (5) must engage in the pulled position.

If door handle (5) does not arrest,

insert cover (4) with pulled door handle (5) and release door handle (5). Then repeat operation step.

Extend door handle (5) to the left or right out of the retainer (6) and pull out toward the front.

Installation: Ensure correct seating of the door handle (5) in the retainer (6).

Install in the reverse order.
