1 | Remove left and right paneling from outer B-pillar | ||
2 | Unclip cover (3) and remove | | |
3 | Remove expansion clip (4). | ||
4 | Loosen rear door crank window seal (1) from B-pillar and pull out of retaining rail in direction of C-pillar (2) | ||
5 | Loosen rear door crank window seal (1) from C-pillar and remove | ||

6 | Remove glue residues on B and C-pillar and butyl band residues with assembly wedge and clean bonding surfaces | Bonding surface should be free of grease and dust. Otherwise adhesion of the rear door crank window seal (1) is not ensured and leakage can occur. | |

Loctite 7063 cleaning spray (150 ml) | |||
7 | Moisten retaining rail (2) with liquid lubricant | Antifriction agent | |
8 | Remove protective foil from adhesive tapes (5) and butyl bands (6) on new rear door crank window seal (1) | Always replace rear door crank window seal (1). | |
9 | Fasten rear door crank window seal (1) in upper corner of B-pillar and press into retaining rail (2) in direction of C-pillar | Ensure that the adhesive tapes (5) and butyl bands (6) on the rear door crank window seal (1) do not make contact with the antifriction agent. Otherwise the adhesive force is impaired. | |
Ensure that the rear door crank window seal (1) is seated correctly in the retaining rail (2). | |||

10 | Hook rear door crank window seal (1) at rear into retaining rail (2) | ||
11 | Firmly press on rear door crank window seal (1) in area of adhesive tapes (5) and butyl bands (6) | Ensure that the rear door crank window seal (1) is seated correctly on the B and C-pillar. | |

12 | Install new expansion clip (4) | ||
13 | Install covering (3) | ||
14 | Install paneling on outer B-pillar |
