Remove/install

Open corresponding rear door (1) completely.

Attach lifting device from the rear door (1).

Carefully handle lifting device.
Otherwise, the paint can be damaged.

Remove door holder (2) from the rear door (1).

Remove grommet (3) on the B-pillar (6) from the fastener (4).

Unclip fastener (4) with a suitable tool from the B-pillar (6).

Installation: Before clipping the fastener (4) into the B-pillar, ensure that the grommet (3) is seated correctly on the fastener (4).

Guide electrical connector (5) out of the B-pillar (6), release, and disconnect.

Remove rear door (1) from the top and bottom hinge.

Carefully handle rear door (1).
Otherwise, paint damage can occur on the rear door (1) or on the body.

Install in the reverse order

Check

Check locking function of the rear door (1).
