Loosen bolts (1)


The lock striker (2) must be movable.
Otherwise the door lock can be damaged when closing the front door.

Loosen bolts (3)


Loosen bolts (3) only lightly.
Otherwise too much play at the contact surfaces of the hinge can complicate the adjustment.

Adjust gap dimensions "DA, DD" and transitions between front fender and A-pillar by moving front door

 Helper required.

 The contours of the fender and A-pillar must be flush with the contour of the front door or project by a maximum of 1 mm.

Tighten bolts (3)

 Bolt, hinge on door

Adjust transition between front door and side wall or sliding door by moving lock striker (2)

 The contour of the front door must be flush with the contour of the side wall or sliding door or project by a maximum of 1  mm. Simultaneously the front door should close easily.

Tighten screws (1)

 Screw/bolt, lock striker to B-pillar
