Remove/install door frame seal

Remove

1

Remove left and right outside mirror

Remove outer sealing rail

Remove inner sealing rail

AR72.10-P-1600R

Unclip seal (2) on mirror triangle with suitable screwdriver and pull out.

Remove door sealing frame (1).

 Do not use any sharp-pointed tools in order to avoid damaging paintwork



Install

Completely remove adhesive residues from front door (3) and clean adhesive surface.

 The adhesive surface should be absolutely free of grease and dust.

Cleaner

Clip mounting clips (4) into door frame.

Glue on new door sealing frame (1) starting at mounting clips (4).

 Ensure that door sealing frame (1) is seated properly.

Uniformly press on door sealing frame (1) with roller.



Put sealing (2) over mirror triangle and clip in (arrows A)

Connect sealing (2) with door sealing frame (1) (arrow B).

Install inner sealing rail
