3 | Remove glue residues from B-pillar with assembly wedge and clean bonding surfaces | Bonding surface should be free of grease and dust. Otherwise the adhesion of the front door crank window seal (1) is not ensured and leakage can occur | |

Loctite 7063 cleaning spray (150 ml) | |||
4 | Moisten retaining rail (2) with antifriction agent | Antifriction agent | |
5 | Remove protective foil from adhesive tape on new front door crank window seal (1) | Always replace front door crank window seal (1). | |
6 | Position front door crank window seal (1) in upper corner of B-pillar | The marking (arrow A) on the front door crank window seal (1) and the marking (arrow B) on the bracket (3) of the B-pillar cover should coincide. | |
7 | Hook front door crank window seal (1) at front into retaining rail (2) | ||
8 | Press front door crank window seal (1) into retaining rail (2) in direction of A-pillar | Ensure that the front door crank window seal (1) is seated correctly in the retaining rail (2). | |

9 | Firmly press front door crank window seal (1) to B-pillar in bonding area. | | |
10 | Install left and right paneling on outer B-pillar |
