| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove the covers (arrows). | ||
2 | Remove the screws (4). | ||
3 | Remove expansion rivet (3). | ||
4 | Unclip the door trim (1) from the retaining clips (9). | Clip remover | |
5 | Tilt door trim (1) at top around 45° and remove it from the front door until the electrical connectors (5) and cable (6) can be accessed. | | |
6 | Unclip the release linkage from the door trim (1). | ||
7 | Disconnect electrical connectors (5). | The number of electrical connections (5) may vary depending on the vehicle equipment. | |
8 | Unhook cable (6) from the inside door opener (7). | ||
9 | Remove door trim (1) from front door. | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| Check | ||
11 | Perform a function test of all components that are installed in the door trim (1). |
